Dr Edith Allasi

General Dentist Qualifications – BDSc (Hons) (Peru), ADC (Melbourne)

Dr Edith completed her Dental Surgeon degree in 2010. She has since worked in both metropolitan and rural practices in Australia. Whilst working as dentist in rural communities in the Peruvian Rainforest, she developed a particular interest in preventative dentistry. She believes that educating patients about good oral health is of paramount to maintain a long-lasting smile and an overall wellbeing.

One of her main objectives is to provide high quality dental care which is complemented by her gentle and compassionate manner. She strives to keep up to date with dental technology and efficient techniques in order to provide the best care for her patients.

Special interests include, helping patients to overcome their fear of dentistry, to provide emergency care, and cosmetic and restorative dentistry (fillings, veneers, crowns and teeth whitening).Dr Edith has been calling Australia home for a decade, she remains a proud South-American and is member of the Peruvian Folklore Dance Group of Victoria. She is also fluent in Spanish. When not at work, she loves seeing her toddler growing up and planning travel adventures with her little family to explore Australia.
